V-IOT collects and processes data on board with ETH-A2 gateways — main engine, generators, fuel, GPS/AIS, oil and vibration — and sends it ashore over MQTT with TLS.
Equipment status is usually visible only in the engine room; the office ashore learns about it from reports or at the next port call. Satellite links drop regularly, and generic IoT setups leave gaps in the data when they do.
The V-IOT Smart Vessel Monitoring System collects and processes data on board with ETH-A2 series edge gateways: main engine (speed, load, cylinder temperatures, lube oil pressure and temperature, exhaust temperatures), generators (voltage, current, frequency, power, running hours), fuel (tank levels, consumption), GPS/AIS and engine-room environment signals.
Lubrication and machine health come from WIO series water-in-oil sensors and HY-VT2000 triaxial vibration and temperature sensors over Modbus RTU. Uplink is MQTT 3.1.1 / 5.0 over SSL/TLS; when the link drops, data is stored on board and forwarded automatically once it returns. The shore side receives it with an Edge + Cloud Server and writes it to the database.
