1. Who we are and scope
This policy is issued by HOYAN Electronics Technology Co., Ltd. (泓洋電子科技有限公司, "HOYAN", "we") and applies to our website hoyan.com.tw, in Chinese and English. Websites we link to are covered by their own privacy policies.
2. Data we collect
You can browse the website without giving us any personal data. Only when you use the Contact page or the enquiry form on the home page do we collect:
- What you enter: company or organisation, contact name, telephone and extension, fax, email, address, preferred contact time, products and quantities for quotation, and your message (the exact fields depend on the form).
- Technical data recorded on submission: IP address, browser information, time of submission and the page it was sent from, used to prevent abuse and for security records.
3. Why we use it
We use this data only to answer your enquiry, provide quotations and technical support, and follow up on that enquiry. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data, and we do not disclose it to third parties unless required by law or by a competent authority.
4. How it is processed and kept
- Form data is stored in the administration system on our website server. Only authorised HOYAN staff can access it; the system requires a login and records staff actions.
- When the website server receives a form, it sends a notification with the same content to sc@hoyan.com.tw from a HOYAN Gmail account (Google's e-mail service), which handles the message under Google's privacy policy. No other outside form service is used.
- We keep the data for as long as needed to serve you and for the related business relationship. You can ask us to delete it at any time (see section 5).
5. Your rights
Under Article 3 of Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act you may ask us to let you inspect or review your personal data, provide a copy, supplement or correct it, stop collecting, processing or using it, or delete it. Email sc@hoyan.com.tw or call +886 7 793-5098; we will act on your request once we have confirmed your identity.
Fields marked * are required; without them we cannot reply to your enquiry. All other fields are optional.
6. Cookies and browser storage
- This website does not use tracking cookies, and currently uses no analytics or advertising tracking tools.
- Your choice of light or dark theme and of language is kept in your own browser's local storage and is not sent to us.
- Fonts and icons are served by Google Fonts and cdnjs (Cloudflare); your browser connects to these services directly when a page loads.
7. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
