Universal input and redundant communication

One card for several signal types

Current, voltage, RTD and thermocouple inputs are handled by the same analog front end, so a handful of temperature points does not force a separate temperature card into the cabinet.

PT100 / Cu50 and thermocouples

PT100, Cu50 and several thermocouple types are supported. Temperature sensors inherited from an older plant are rarely standardised, so accepting them directly is the practical choice.

Dual Modbus RTU redundancy

Two RTU channels back each other up, so data keeps flowing when one path fails. For a process that cannot stop, losing communication is as serious as losing the equipment.

Point count and electrical

Four NPN digital inputs and eight NPN digital outputs. Communication is Modbus RTU × 2 plus Modbus TCP, and the supply is 24 V DC (10 – 27 V).
