HOYAN Technologies Co., Ltd. is based in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, and is a designer, builder and supplier of industrial-grade control modules, oil condition sensors and integrated monitoring systems.

Circuit design and firmware are developed in house; PCB fabrication is outsourced, and assembly, soldering, testing and packing are all done on our own bench. The own-brand range covers ETH-A2 gateways, TSF control and I/O modules, WIO water-in-oil detectors, HY-VT triaxial vibration sensors, the HY-FT face recognition and infrared temperature system, and the V-IOT vessel monitoring platform — a complete industrial IoT chain from the sensor to the cloud.

ETH-A2 gateways, TSF control modules, WIO oil sensors and HY-VT vibration sensors are all own-brand products, with the core technology held in house.
Every unit tested before it ships
Every unit is powered up and functionally tested before it ships. Assembly and testing happen on our own bench, so a problem can be traced to the batch and the step.
Engineering support
Selection advice, installation, commissioning, maintenance and training are all handled by the people who built the product — nothing is passed to a third party.
Import and export
Real export experience, with technical support in English; the product interface itself covers Traditional and Simplified Chinese, English and Japanese.

Three pillars, one value chain

Designing and building our own products, integrating them into systems, and servicing them on site are all handled by the same team.

Own-brand development and manufacturing
Circuit design and firmware are developed in house; PCB fabrication is outsourced, and assembly, soldering, testing and packing come back to our own bench. Thirteen products span sensing, gateways, control and integrated monitoring. Because the core technology is ours, customisation does not wait on a vendor schedule, and a fault can be traced to the batch and the process step.
System integration and solutions
V-IOT vessel monitoring, vibration-based predictive maintenance and online oil monitoring, with years of practical experience at home and abroad. The equipment being integrated is our own, so responsibility sits in one place.
Field service and support
Selection advice, installation, commissioning, maintenance and training are handled by our own people rather than passed on. Because the design and firmware were written here, a problem found on site goes straight back to the source instead of waiting on a vendor schedule.

One data path, sensor to cloud

The data path is field to gateway to system, with no industrial PC in between and no code to write. All three layers are our own products, so the interfaces between them are consistent.

Milestones

2008
HOYAN founded. Starting out in industrial automation equipment distribution and marine services, serving shipping companies and manufacturers across Taiwan.
2018
Development brought in house. The shift from distribution to own products, building up development capability in sensing and control modules.
2019
WIO water-in-oil detector enters production. Water activity (aw) measurement gives warning before free water separates, opening the steel, marine and wind power markets.
2020
TSF-A1 universal data collector. One card covering current, voltage, RTD and thermocouple inputs, suited to older plants with mixed signal types.
2022
TSF-A2 MCU logic controller. Logic written with the rule engine and HRL, alongside the A2 series I/O expansion modules are detected automatically on connection.
2024
ETH-A2 / ETH-A2E gateway and the V-IOT vessel monitoring system. ETH-A2E carries a 160-rule engine and web SCADA so control decisions are made on site; V-IOT brings whole-ship monitoring onto an MQTT platform, adopted by shipping customers.
2025
HY-VT vibration sensors and the FluxMind smart factory platform. The HY-VT series computes FFT and the ISO 10816 / 20816 zone verdict in the sensor itself; FluxMind brings OEE, energy management and AI fault diagnosis together on a four-layer IIoT architecture.
2026
ETH-A2N, ETH-VHS-A2N and ETH-A2L. Serial distribution, vibration monitoring and long-range LoRa complete the ETH-A2 gateway series, covering wired, wireless and dedicated-monitoring site conditions.

The standards, regulations and protection ratings the products actually follow.

Measurement to international standards
Vibration assessment uses the ISO 10816-3 / ISO 20816 boundary values exactly as published: 12 tables and 24 boundary values, every one verifiable. Our own feature rules are labelled as engineering practice and kept separate from the standard.
Cyber security baseline
Designed in the spirit of IEC 62443-4-2: three-tier RBAC, salted SHA-256 passwords, login lock-out and audit logging, with TLS and mutual TLS for MQTT and encrypted OTA updates.
Product compliance
Products are marked CE / FCC / RoHS. Published figures are design values; the shipping production version governs.
Environmental protection
Protection is chosen per application: IP66 on the WIO probe, all-316 stainless steel with IP68 on HY-VT2000, IP67 on HY-VT3K/5K, with operating ranges as wide as −40 to +85 °C.
Factory calibration
Water-activity and vibration measurement demand consistent sensing elements, so every sensor is rigorously calibrated before shipping — calibration quality decides directly whether a field reading can be trusted.
Data integrity
When the sensing chain overloads, a sticky flag is set and the reading is marked invalid, so clipped data never enters the trend database and cannot distort later interpretation.

A fault on site is handled by one supplier rather than coordinated between several. The interfaces are our own design, so responsibility is clearly bounded.
Adoption without rebuilding what exists
Nothing is replaced and no existing control program is modified. Meters, drives and PLCs go online as they are, which keeps the cost of adoption manageable.
Twenty years on the ground
The company began by distributing industrial automation equipment and moved into developing its own, and is familiar with how a Taiwanese plant floor actually operates.
Four UI languages, ready for export
